City of North Little Rock Approves Argenta District Master Plan

The City of North Little Rock approved the Argenta District 2010 Master Plan on August 10, 2010.The plan, which is a community-based vision for guiding the growth and change in downtown North Little Rock, calls for preserving and building on Argenta’s strengths, addressing its weaknesses, and maximizing its potential.

Mayor Hays’ Success Inspires Climate Award

In winning the 2010 Mayors’ Climate Protection Award, North Little Rock Mayor Patrick Hays served up a big reminder to smaller cities: You don’t need a big-city budget or a dense built environment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions successfully and create a more sustainable community in the process.

Free QuikSaver Energy Efficiency Training Set for June 22

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR (June 03, 2010) – The City of North Little Rock and the North Little Rock Home Depot will provide FREE home energy-efficiency training to members of civic and faith-based organizations at 11:30 a.m. at the North Little Rock Home Depot, 4235 East McCain Boulevard, on Tuesday, June 22, 2010.

FREE Confidential Energy Assessments

Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions (AMS) in partnership with Industrial Assessment Centers and the the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is offering a FREE confidential energy assessment of your facility. Currently there are twenty-six engineering colleges in the US offering this program to small and medium sized manufacturers. Each assessment is one day in duration, and the requested information allows us to prepare in advance for your assessment day.
